The 2016 Kawasaki Z1000 ABS is equipped with the 1043cc inline four-cylinder engine and sits on an aluminum twin-lube frame. Front end suspension is managed by the Showa Separate Function Fork-Big Piston (SFF-BP), and comes with a comfortable, upright riding position from the wide stance of the handlebar. For 2016 it has been equipped with an assist and slipper clutch along with a new color scheme, Golden Blazed Green with Metallic Matte Graphite Gray.  The 2016 Kawasaki Z1000 ABS has the Digital Timing Advance helps with the increased low-and mid-range power. It utilizes the 310 millimeter petal-type front rotors and a radial pump master cylinder with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS).
