2014 Sturgis Rally: Pictures Speak 1000 Words

Thursday, August 7, 2014
It's been a crazy week at Sturgis. We hit the ground running, attending a big industry party for the reveal of the 2015 Indian Scout, then had the pleasure of testing it out the next day. We hitched a leg over the 2015 Harley Road Glide for a ride out to Custer State Park, then climbed aboard the 2015 Victory Magnum to catch the Legends Ride. In between, we've hit up Michael Lichter's "Built for Speed" Motorcycles as Art party, caught the unveiling of the Biker Battleground Phoenix Builder's baggers at the Supreme Sturgis Showdown, and got the privilege of taking a lap around the new Buffalo Chip Powersports Complex in a TORC truck. We watched the action at Sturgis Dragway at the WMDRA event, and have taken in a show or four while enjoying the nightlife at The Sturgis Buffalo Chip.

They say a picture speaks 1000 words, so we'll shut up and let these shots from Sturgis 2014 speak for us.

I don't really get it, when I get time off, I want more of an adventure, to get away from noise and crowds, to see something pristine, meet locals, Touring Canada's BC, Glacier Park, etc... Maybe its because I was addicted to 'Then Came Bronson' as a teenager. Those pictures don't speak a thousands words to me. They speak only two... 'stay away'.
