What’s this you say…a Jet Ski? We’re not only riding motorcycles these days. Watercraft is one of the most popular segments of the powersports industry so we figured we’d dabble in that too.

The 2008 Kawasaki Ultra 250X

At the heart of the Ultra 250X is a 1.5-liter, double-overhead-cam, four-cylinder mill that powers the 904-lb jet ski.

The Ultra 250X has a digital instrument panel with a small bar-graph fuel gauge.

The Ultra 250X has a claimed 58-gallon bow storage compartment.

You don't need sunshine to have fun on a personal watercraft. Lake Nacimiento was calm, making for great riding.

The seat is wide enough to be comfortable but Kawasaki claims it’s also narrow enough to not interfere when riding the ski standing up. We tend to agree abut it does require the driver to use a wide stance.
