Bled I did. Those little 85 mlg aspirins sure do thin your blood.
But... All better.
Time for a new ride.

Yikes!

So glad the injuries were "relatively" minor.

You were not wearing a full face were you?

im on warfarin for the rest of my life so I can relate. well good luck on the new ride. I imagine you are still dealing with some pain. hope you find the Harley to your taste. the fat boy kind of surprised me. that's more of a beat around the town going bar to bar scoot (depending on the set up). I would have guessed heritage classic since it has the bags and what not.

The Heritage and Fat Boy are exactly the same bike. The Heritage has the BIIIIG bags.
The Fat Boy has a little better torque and better lean angle. And $400 cheaper.

No full face helmet. I would not be able to see through all the sweat. I sweat a lot inside the helmet.

That is part of my problem with the full face as well. The Shoei Neotec has been a big improvement because it's a modular and the eye port and visor is bigger than say my RF-1100, but it's been hot around here and I just fog up everything. So I have acquired a 3/4 lid which is quite nice and lets me breathe! But I only wear it when it's 85 or above, and ONLY when I'm on my new Vision (checkout the picture thread or my profile, there are some pics of her there). If I'm on the Bandit FA it's full face all the time no matter what.

Anywho, I'm anxious to see the new Harley dude! And I'm really glad you two are OK. :coolthumb:

Really sorry about your mishap George, but glad you're healed up. Fatboys can be pretty comfy, keep us in the loop.
