Yamaha V Star 650

I am a new rider and have a beautiful 2007 Yamaha V Star 650..One problem I have is the clutch has too much play. I saw where someone was able to get a part out of North or South Carolina to correct this. The local shop has no idea what the guy was talking about. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

adjust the cable and/or lever. if not sure how, ask google. as far as the 'part' goes, ask google as well. if it exist, google should have some information about it.

Welcome to the forum.

Please do not post the same question in more than one place; it just causes confusion.

Is your clutch cable operated or hydralic ?

If it is a cable, it can be adjusted, maybe at more than one place.
If it is hydralic, it is not really "play" and is just something you need to get used to.

Don't believe EVERYTHING that you think.

it looks like there is an adjuster on it, should be covered in owner's manual.
Lots of people on internet with :poop: to sell...
Clicker levers that will change spacing of lever?
