Not a lot of Zuki owners on here, I think.
You might want to look for a more C90 specific group.

The best solution so far seems to be this:
"The 10th digit of your VIN will be the year of the bike. The 05-07's had problems. Suzuki knows it but won't do anything. If it is within one year or you have an extended warranty, you may be in luck. But, that one will fail also. What you need is the OEM stator that has a part number ending in -08. Then get ahold of Jim at www.metricthunder.com and order the CE-602 R/R and follow the wiring instructions. You will need to order the generator gasket when you order the stator from Suzuki. I was the 3rd person to do this last year and so far, NO PROBLEMS!!! I went through 6 or 7 stators before doing this. You will want to hardwire the R/R directly to the stator. Forget going up to the plug under the seat. The whole job will take the average person an afternoon and cost about $500.00 USD."
