The Kurt Caselli Foundation is holding a fundraiser at Doffo Winery Saturday, May 31 at 10 a.m. The event will be held at the winery, home of the wonderful MotoDoffo collection shown in these pictures. The award-winning motorcycle documentary ‘Why We Ride’ will also be shown and producer/director Bryan H. Carroll will be in attendance as a special guest.
If you live in Southern California and are looking for something to do this weekend, head over to Doffo Winery in Temecula for a fundraiser for The Kurt Caselli Foundation and catch a showing of the motorcycle documentary “Why We Ride” while you’re at it. Money raised by the event will go toward helping “the foundation promote safety awareness and practices in motorcycle racing.”
The event starts at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 31, but you must RSVP ahead of time because space is limited. It will take place in the wonderful barrel room of Doffo Winery, which we recently had the pleasure of visiting during the press launch of the 2014 Honda Valkyrie. The room houses a wonderful collection of vintage motorcycles, scooters and memorabilia, with more moto-treasures spread about the property. “Why We Ride” producer/director Bryan H. Carroll will be attending as a special guest, his wonderfully cinematic movie will be shown, and I’m certain the tasting room will be open for business as well, so plan ahead if you plan on sipping a little vino or grab a bottle to enjoy in the safety of your home.
Though Kurt is no longer with us, events like this keep memories of him alive and help promote off-road racer safety. Go to www.kurtcaselli.com for more information about the foundation or to make a donation.
Check out www.doffowines.com to learn more about the winery or visit www.motodoffo.com to see some of the wonderful motorcycles they have on display. To RSVP for the event, click on this link. Also, if you haven’t seen “Why We Ride” yet, you can buy a copy from the www.whyweride.com website or learn how to host your own screening of the documentary.
