Aprilia has announced that it will be replacing its aging V-Twin powered Tuono naked streetfighter with an all-new motorcycle called the Aprilia Tuono V4R. Check out the full story in our 2012 Aprilia Tunono V4R First Look.
- The Tuono V4R rolls on a set of 3-spoke aluminum rims that are lighter than the RSV4R’s courtesy of a new manufacturing method.

- A new exhaust system has been fitted that’s more than 4 pounds lighter and an updated ride-by-wire throttle system with traction control has been fitted as well.
- The chassis including the rigid twin-spar aluminum frame, swingarm and RSV4R suspension components comprised of a 3-way adjustable Sachs fork and gas-charged shock absorber with 4-way adjustability will also be shared with the RSV4 sportbike.
- The Tuono V4R will be powered by the same liquid-cooled 999cc V-Four engine as used in the Superbikes.
