Victory Motorcycles continues to trickle out information about its Project 156, this time with a video about the prototype race engine it will use to race up Pikes Peak. The Project 156 team gets a peak at initial performance numbers after firing it up at its Minnesota R&D facility. Victory’s Darby Fowler, one of the project leaders, talks about needing a broad map to deal with barometer drops and the changing atmospheric conditions they’ll encounter from the continuous climb in elevation.

Project 156 will make its dash up the mountain Sunday, June 28th, with Don Canet aboard. Good luck to everyone involved in this American-based project, we’re pulling for you!
